Students will stay at boarding colleges, which have many years of tradition and an excellent
reputation for providing an effective environment for students' well being and their study.
Friendly and cooperative college staff will treat students like a family member and try to make
students feel at home. Students will stay in single rooms and share a living room, which is
equipped with a large screen TV and VCR. Also, students have access to many other facilities
within the college including a swimming pool, library, computer rooms and ovals for sports.
The colleges have their own security guards 24 hours a day, and college staff and resident
teachers will pay close attention to student safety. Details of emergency procedures will be
explained to students during the orientation period.
Students and resident teachers will enjoy meals, which are carefully prepared by the college
chefs, who have extensive experience in professional catering and catering to overseas students.
Nutrition is carefully considered when developing meal plans for active students and meals are
served buffet style, three times a day with snacks.

Australian homestay families are carefully selected. Generally families will be from Australian
middle-class homes with children around similar ages to the participating students. During the study
tour, students will spend considerable time with these families where their English learning, and knowledge
of Australian culture, will be greatly enhanced. Meals are carefully prepared by considering the student's
health and nutrient intake. Every member of the family will monitor the student's safety and pay close attention
to their needs.
