About South Korea Teaching in South Korea Teacher Training Hagwon Facilities Teaching Program Qualifications FAQ Apply Online		South Korean government regulations require that all teachers have an E2 Visa. 1. Bachelor's degree from a college or university (any discipline) or three year degree with postgraduate qualifications. TESOL or equivalent is preferred. Teaching experience with primary-aged children is an advantage. 2. Passport from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. 3. A minimum one-year contract with the Choral English College. 4. Native English speaker. Experience with children (formal or informal) Flexibility, enthusiasm, patience, and a smile The desire to experience a new culture Teaching/tutoring experience or a TESOL certificate or equivalent are an asset to your application, but not essential. The Choral English College provides teaching materials and a comprehensive training program with professional development sessions throughout the year.
